George Bernard Shaw was enchanted by this lovely city, about that he stated "those who find paradise on Earth must arrive at Dubrovnik", and also, famously, describing it as "the pearl of the Adriatic". It actually is a spectacular city with an awesome Old Town, which turned into a UNESCO World Heritage web site in 1979.
